Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand has said that religious power and state power are two different focal points. In Sanatan Dharma, religious power kept a check on state power so that the state power does not act autocratically and against religion. But when a person belonging to a religious organization captures the state power, he will start acting against religion. Without taking anyone’s name, he said that among the Mughals, the Caliph is the supreme religious leader and he is also the master of royal betting. But this was never the case in Sanatan Dharma. Due to which today’s state government has become autocratic and dictatorial because it has mixed religion and state. It has started considering itself as superior to religious power for the sake of state power.

Swami ji said that even during the rule of Mughals and British, no religious leader was allowed to take bath, the police never misbehaved and whenever he clashed with the religious authorities, the same sages, saints and Shankaracharya fought with him and kept Sanatan Dharma alive.

Magh Mela, which is held on the banks of Ganga, is waving the religious flag of religious and asceticism in Tirtharaj Prayag. When an attempt was made to stop it, the sages and saints fought against them and re-established the Magh Mela. And since then, the tradition is continuing till today.

Swami ji said that Shikha is a symbol of our Sanatan tradition and self-respect. Ghananand had insulted Chanakya by holding the Shikha and Chanakya had vowed by holding the same Shikha that he will not rest until he overturns your power and crushes your arrogance. And after removing that Ghananand from the state power, he handed over the throne to Chandragupta Maurya and again started carrying on the tradition of his Sanatan Dharma. When people of fake Sanatani Dharma start using Dharma Santa only for ruling power, then how will Sanatani Dharma survive?

Now we will have to think about who is a fake Hindu and who is a real Hindu because I do not consider such people as real Hindus who break all the rules and decorum of Sanatan Dharma for the sake of power. He said that the people of the religious organization helped the Bharatiya Janata Party to come to power so that Sanatan Dharma remains alive. And this quality was also visible in him. But after some time it proved to be a mirage. An oath was taken to protect the cow, whereas the plight of mother cow has never been as severe as before. And the person who raises her issue is becoming their enemy.

There are some persons sitting in the midst of the state power in disguise who want to play a game to destroy the real Dharmacharya by giving him fake Shankaracharya and various Mahamandaleshwars and many titles, which will never succeed. Because not here, the person sitting above is looking at him as the Almighty God.

He also said that the head of the government has given a statement that some people want to defame Sanatan Dharma by becoming routine, a decision should be taken on this. Who is bent on reducing everything in order to destroy religious authority in disguise.

While praising some leaders in BJP, he said that there are still some leaders of Sanatani religion who consider the power of religion higher than the state power and respect them, but their voice is suppressed and those who have disguised themselves as usual, have become the biggest lambardars of Sanatani. Such people should now oust the followers of religion power from power. Otherwise, there will be a lot of trouble ahead for Sanatan Dharma. And the path of struggle will have to be decided.

It is important to mention here that when Shankaracharya Swami was going to take bath with Mukteshwar Anand on Mauni Amavasya, the police stopped him and not only misbehaved with his supporters and the Ved Party Batukdhari Brahmins but the police even beat him, in protest against which Shankaracharya announced not to take bath and did not take bath even till Basant Panchami.

Be it people from the ruling party or the opposition, everyone is opposing this action of the police.

While opposition party’s Akhilesh Yadav, former Chief Minister Sanjay Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Kunwar Revati Raman Singh, former MP, his son Ujjwal Amar Singh, Congress MP, all four Shankaracharyas and many Dharmacharyas have strongly protested, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya, while apologizing to Shankaracharya ji, humbly appealed to him to take a bath in the Ganga and action will be taken against whoever is guilty. The State President has also criticized this incident. Many MLAs and saints have also criticized this incident. Condemning this incident, the incident has been done at the behest of the Chief Minister of the state by giving statements in newspapers and on social media every day, due to which the political atmosphere has also become heated.

But till now neither such officers have been identified nor any investigation has been conducted. On the contrary, the certificate of his being Shankaracharya was asked from Shankaracharya himself and it was said that why should he not be stopped from coming to the fair in future. Swami ji today said that there is no need for him to come to the fair but it is not even his fair that we will stop him.
