Disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly headed to Sandringham to inspect his new home, with the former prince having an unexpected reaction to his new digs. Andrew will be leaving Royal Lodge in the coming weeks, after he was banished from the property by his brother King Charles over his association with billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
As a result of being booted from the 30-room mansion on the Windsor estate, Andrew will be relocated to the King’s privately-owned estate of Sandringham in Norfolk. With his impending eviction just days away, the former prince is believed to have travelled to Sandringham to inspect his new home of Marsh Farm.

While Andrew has fought for several years to stay in the Royal Lodge, his visit to Norfolk has reportedly somewhat changed his mind about his new home, despite the property being much smaller than the mansion in Windsor that he has called home for more than 20 years.
After his secretive visit to Sandringham on the weekend, a source told The Sun : "It was the first time he’s seen his new house and he is resigned to the fact that this is his future. He’s come to the conclusion that he has to get on with the rest of his life and accepts he has to make the best of it."
The source added that Andrew travelled up to his new home to have curtains measured up, while checking out renovations at his more modest property.
In recent weeks, workmen have been seen at Marsh Farm adding in new security measures such as a 6ft tall fence, with Sky technicians also spotted as they appeared to install broadband to the home.
A no-fly zone around the Sandringham Estate is also believed to have been extended to include Marsh Farm, which is around seven miles away from the main Sandringham House.
Current renovations at Marsh Farm have not yet been completed, with Andrew reportedly set to stay in the nearby Wood Farm Cottage until the works at Marsh Farm have been completed. It is not known exactly when Andrew will make his move to Norfolk but he could hand back the key to Royal Lodge before his birthday, on February 19.
Andrew’s first visit to the renovated home comes just days after huge removal vans were already spotted at Royal Lodge on January 14, signalling his final days at the Windsor estate.
In October last year, Andrew was stripped of his titles and forced to hand back his 75-year lease on Royal Lodge, after King Charles was facing mounting public pressure to exile his younger brother over his connection with Epstein. Andrew has denied all allegations against him.
Buckingham Palace released a statement at the time on Andrew being stripped of his royal titles, citing a "serious lapses of judgment" on Andrew’s behalf, with the statement adding: “Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."
