Alexander Zverev hit back after being asked about his brother, former world No. 25 Mischa, in his latest on-court interview at the Australian Open. Last year's runner-up reached the semi-finals with a 6-3 6-7(5) 6-1 7-6(3) win over Learner Tien and was then asked about his sibling, who is a part of his team.
Zverev was also quizzed about Mischa when he beat Britain's Cameron Norrie last week, and even ran over to his team box to give his brother the microphone. And the No. 3 seed couldn't believe that retired star Christopher Eubanks was bringing up his brother again.
Eubanks asked the German what his brother made of his volleying performance, and Zverev jokingly replied: "Every single on-court interview is about him! I'm playing, I'm here. He used to play 10 years ago, he was very good, we get it. He beat Andy Murray here, wow, yay."
Mischa famously earned the biggest win of his career at the Australian Open back in 2017, knocking Murray out in the fourth round while the Brit was the world No. 1. Murray had also reached two straight finals in Melbourne before his round-of-16 exit.
But Zverev has had enough of hearing about his brother's big win. Eubanks decided to goad the No. 3 seed further and joked that he was going to ask another question about his family after that response.
The 28-year-old has always been coached by his father, Alexander Zverev Senior, and Eubanks asked what it was like to travel the tennis tour with his dad and brother - and whether they ever got sick of each other. "Yeah I get sick of them but they don't get sick of me because I pay for everything!" the three-time Grand Slam finalist laughed.

Zverev's dad and brother will be pleased with his performance against Tien, who dominated against Daniil Medvedev in the fourth round to reach a maiden quarter-final. And the German was impressed by his young rival.
"Learner from the baseline was playing unbelievable. I don't think I've played anyone who plays that well from the baseline for a very, very long time. I don't know what Michael Chang has done with him in the off-season but the way he's playing, it's incredible," Zverev said.
"Without my 20 aces or something like that, I probably would've not won today, so obviously very happy with my serve, but just generally happy to be back in the semis."
The 2025 runner-up now faces either Carlos Alcaraz or Alex de Minaur as he bids to return to the final here for the second year running.
