Michael Carrick has made a brilliant start to his Manchester United tenure with back-to-back wins over Manchester City and Arsenal. United are back in the top-four and will be hoping to cement their place in the Champions League come the end of the 2025/2026 season.
However, they're yet to add to their ranks during the January transfer window and have just under a week left to bolster Carrick's options to make their Champions League dream a reality. United have been linked with several additions in different positions, though the majority of their business was done in the summer, bringing in the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
With that in mind, Mirror Football has taken a look at the latest Man Utd transfer news and rumours with a week left in the window;

Vitor Roque 'eyed' amid competitionBrazilian outlet Rádio Tupi claims Man Utd, Tottenham and Chelsea are all keeping an eye on Brazilian striker Vitor Roque. However, Palmeiras have slapped a huge £43m asking price, according to the report.
The 20-year-old striker impressed at Cruzeiro and Athletico Paranaense earlier on in his career, scoring plenty of goals in Brazil's top-flight, which saw Barcelona come calling. However, the Brazilian striker struggled to make his mark in Spain.
He's scored just twice in 16 appearances before a loan move to Real Betis.

He scored seven goals in 33 appearances during his loan spell in Betis, before returning to Brazil and scoring an impressive 20 goals in 59 appearances since a €25.5million (£21.1m) move to Palmeiras. The report claims none of the Premier League trio have made a formal approach for the striker, who is in just his fifth year of senior football.
Man Utd 'to ambush' Saudi bid for French star
FootMercato claims Man Utd are ready to make an approach to sign Rennes star Mohamed Kader Meïté. Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal are, also, reportedly preparing a €40m (£34.7m) move for the 18-year-old striker.
Meite has scored three goals in 18 appearances for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions this season. Neymar's old club Al-Hilal are said to be keen on a move for the young talent.
The report claims Man Utd could 'ambush' the deal. That's if one of the strikers leave this month.
Joshua Zirkzee seems the most likely option to depart - having been linked with a return to the Serie A, with AS Roma keen on his services. It's unclear whether Man Utd would be willing to pay a similar fee to the Saudi Arabian side, nor does it seem likely that Zirkzee will leave Old Trafford this month - if reports are to be believed.
