On January 27, India Under-19 is playing against Zimbabwe Under-19 in a Super Sixes Group 2 match at Bulawayo. There, India's star opener, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, slaughtered the bowlers after a mild start. On his shots against the Zimbabwe bowler Panashe Mazai, he went viral as fans were left in awe. It happened in the third ball of the 7th over when Panashe Mazai overpitched slightly around off stump, and Vaibhav Suryavanshi made him pay in style.
Clearing his front leg with early intent, the batter presented the full face of the bat and drove straight down to the ground. The ball sailed cleanly over long-on, struck with perfect timing and balance, leaving the bowler helpless.

Notably, Mazai got smacked for another six in the same over's final ball. Mazai banged it in short from around the wicket at an angle into the stumps, but a ready Vaibhav Suryavanshi unleashed a powerful heave with a high back lift and caught it clean on the bat over the long-on fence.

Suryavanshi got his tournament's second 50
Vaibhav Suryavanshi's stay was limited to 30 balls, scoring 52 runs. It marked his second half-century in the tournament. He achieved his fifty with a single in the ninth over right after hitting a boundary off Tatenda Chimugoro. After India lost the first wicket, Vaibhav, along with captain Ayush Mahtre stabilized India, before departing.
In the 11th over when Chimugoro hit a testing length on the fourth-stump channel that held slightly on the pitch, Suryavanshi went hard through the line with a full-faced bat but mistimed the shot, pushing it straight to mid-off. Mudzengerere completed a simple catch inside the circle as the batter walked back shaking his head in frustration.
India lost two quick wickets
India Under-19s made a brisk start after Zimbabwe Under-19s opted to field, racing to 113/3 in 13.2 overs at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. Aaron George provided early momentum with 23 off 16 balls before Panashe Mazai removed him. Ayush Mhatre (21) and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi added quick runs, taking India past 100 inside 11 overs, before Tatenda Chimugoro struck twice in quick succession.
So far, Chimugoro was the standout bowler with figures of 2 for 15, while Mazai claimed one wicket despite conceding runs. India maintained a run rate above eight.
