News India Live, Digital Desk: There was a time when most of the countries in the Middle East did not like to even take the name of Israel, but now it seems that the wind of times has completely changed. A recent report from America has created a new stir around the world, especially in Muslim countries. According to this report, about 20 more countries of the world are lining up to normalize their relations with Israel and join a special ‘Peace Initiative’. This initiative was started during the time of former US President Donald Trump and now it is gradually taking a bigger shape. What is this ‘Peace Initiative’ after all? This initiative has been named ‘Peace to Prosperity’. It started with ‘Abraham Accords’. This was the same historic agreement under which major Arab countries like the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Morocco had forgotten decades-old enmity and established diplomatic and trade relations with Israel. Now the White House report is saying that the list of those joining this ‘club’ is getting longer. According to the report, “About 20 countries are now waiting to become a part of the Abraham Accords.” Why is there a race to join this ‘club’? The reason for this is not only peace, but trade and progress. The countries which are becoming part of this agreement are working together in areas like trade, technology, security and tourism. This is giving huge benefits to their economy. Another major objective of this initiative is to isolate those countries which promote instability and terrorism in the region. The report clearly states that this alliance will isolate those countries which adopt the path of hatred and conflict. The message is very clear: Either you walk together on the path of peace and progress, or you will be left alone. Although the White House has not yet revealed the names of these 20 countries, this news itself has started a new debate in the geo-politics of the world. This is an indication that the picture of the Middle East will no longer be the same as we have seen till date.
