“I think what we’ve seen is horrific,” Mamdani said in an interview. He added, “There are many Americans who are being told not to believe their eyes and ears. They are being told not to believe reality.”

Showing the video of Renee Goode’s murder, Mamdani claimed that the incident was nothing but murder. Directly attacking Donald Trump, Mamdani claims that this fear in people’s minds is not only in Minneapolis. New Yorkers are also afraid. He claimed that their lives have been made ‘terrorist’. He claimed that Mamdani will ensure that such an incident does not happen to anyone in New York.

He said that he told the president that the search conducted by ICE was very brutal. His claim, American people ‘want to see the truth and want to know the truth.’

The situation was heating up after one person was shot dead at an immigrant protest in Minneapolis on Saturday night. This happened twice in one month in America. Earlier on January 7, a woman named Rene Nicole Goode was shot dead by the immigration department. Alex could not accept this repressive policy of Trump in deporting immigrants.
