Monsoon Update: The active Western Disturbance in northwestern India has increased the level of cold and brought rainfall to many areas. Heavy rain and cold winds at night have brought life to a standstill in Haryana, Delhi, Delhi-NCR, and several parts of Uttar Pradesh.
In the hilly regions of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Kashmir, snowfall has transformed the mountains into a white blanket, further worsening the situation. Bad weather is expected to continue today, January 28th. The weather remains quite bad in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh as well. Heavy Rain in Delhi-NCR
Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday, making the situation worse. Fog returned after the rain, and the cold has intensified again. The harsh winter has once again gripped Delhi-NCR.
According toDr. Shashikant Mishra, a senior scientist at the Meteorological Department, has issued a yellow alert for February 1st for Delhi-NCR, including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad, and the entire NCR region. People have been advised to take precautions.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the influence of the Western Disturbance, rain and thunderstorms are expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh today, January 28th. Dense fog is expected in many parts of the state during the morning and night of January 29th.
The impact of the active Western Disturbance in northwestern India is now expected to be seen in Uttar Pradesh as well. Increased cloud cover is expected across the state. While winds were previously coming from the east, these westerly winds have brought some relief to the atmosphere. Heavy rainfall is possible in some areas over the next three days.
Rajasthan Weather
Due to the influence of a Western Disturbance, light to moderate rainfall is expected in some parts of Rajasthan. Strong winds with speeds of 30-40 km/h, along with lightning and thunder, are likely in western Rajasthan. A hailstorm warning has been issued for eastern Rajasthan.
Dense fog is also possible in some areas during the morning and night of January 28th and 29th. The minimum temperature is expected to fall by 3-5°C over the next two days, followed by a gradual rise in temperature.
