UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2026: The last date to apply for the Lekhpal recruitment 2026 conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is January 28, 2026. The online application process started on December 29, 2025. A total of 7,994 Lekhpal posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive. An important point regarding the application process is that the last date for online application and fee payment is January 28, 2026. The correction window for making changes to the application form will remain open until February 4, 2026, but applying before this date is mandatory.

The application fee is only Rs. 25 for all categories: General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD. The candidate's age should be between 18 and 40 years as of July 1, 2025.

Who can fill out the UP Lekhpal form?
In terms of eligibility, candidates must have passed Class 12th. They must also have qualified in the UPSSSC PET 2025. The selection process will be completed in four stages, including shortlisting based on PET scores, a written examination, document verification, and a medical examination.

Revised Vacancies are as follows:
According to the revised notification, there has been a significant increase in vacancies for the OBC category. The number of posts for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has also been increased, while the vacancies for the General category have been reduced. As per the new list, 3,205 posts are reserved for the General category, 2,158 for OBC, 1,679 for SC, 160 for ST, and 792 for EWS.

Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month for the Lekhpal (revenue officer) position, along with other allowances as per state government rules.
