For several years, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been in the middle of numerous scandals surrounding his association with billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The scandals and accusations, which Andrew has long denied, have cost him his royal titles and patronages, his home of Royal Lodge and his place in the Royal Family.
While King Charles made the decision to strip his younger brother of his titles last year, it seems his family relationships have also suffered elsewhere, with reports of his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson expressing her disappointment in Andrew’s behaviour, while their daughter have also now allegedly kept their father at an arm’s length.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been put in a difficult position due to their father’s indiscretions, with both sisters pulling out of public events in the weeks after the shock announcement that Andrew would be stripped of his titles.
Since then, rumours have emerged that Eugenie has completely cut contact with her father, after opting to spend Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family rather than with her parents at Windsor.
An insider told the Daily Mail: "There is no contact at all, nothing. It’s Brooklyn Beckham level – she has completely cut him off. Beatrice is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family.
“They aren't exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn't trying to walk that line. She's not speaking to him,” adding that Andrew is “devastated” by the estrangement. Beatrice has still kept in contact with her father, and was recently seen on the Windsor estate as she and her daughter Sienna joined the former prince for a horse riding lesson.
While the relationship between Andrew and his daughter seems to have hit a rough patch, an insider has now set the record straight on where the house of York stands with each other. Speaking to The i Paper, a family friend said: “They remain a resilient family.”
Despite the insider claiming that they are standing by each other, both Beatrice and Eugenie have been forced to distance themselves from their parents in the eyes of the public. Both sisters opted to spend Christmas in Sandringham, along with their husbands and children, while Andrew and Fergie spent their final Christmas together in the Royal Lodge before their impending eviction.
Royal experts have since claimed that Andrew has been using his daughters to keep a foot in with the Royal Family, despite his dramatic exile. Royal experts Ingrid Seward and Charlie Rae spoke candidly about Beatrice and Eugenie’s inclusion in the royal Christmas celebrations, telling The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson they were surprised to see them in such good spirits, given the nature of their parent’s scandals.
Wilkinson said: "I was fascinated by Beatrice and Eugenie going to Sandringham because we were led to believe that both of them were going to stay away from Royal Lodge, they were going to stay away from Sandringham to avoid being seen as taking sides. However, they changed their minds and they went to Sandringham. They were standing on the steps outside of the church, smiling, happy with the King."
Mr Rae argued it was the “right decision to be with the King”, and Ms Seward agreed, adding: “But I don’t think Beatrice and Eugenie had a choice. Andrew said to them, you have to go, because he wants to keep a foot in. A, he wants to know what’s going on. B, he’d want to know what people were saying about him.”
