The Sessions Court in Lahore has extended the interim bail of the wife of Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai. The extension is in connection with a case involving the illegal promotion of gambling applications.

The hearing took place before Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Qureshi. During the proceedings, the National Cyber Crime Wing (NCC) requested additional time to submit the complete case record. The court considered the request.

After reviewing the matter, the judge extended the interim bail until February 4. The extension allows the accused to remain out of custody until the next hearing.

The case concerns allegations that Saad Rehman’s wife was involved in promoting betting and gambling applications. Such activities are illegal under Pakistani law.

Authorities have been investigating the matter since the complaint was filed. The NCC is handling the collection and verification of evidence.

Legal experts say cases involving online gambling promotion have increased in recent years. The government has taken strict measures to curb illegal gambling and online betting platforms.

The accused will have to appear in court on the next hearing date. The court will decide the further course of action after reviewing the case record submitted by the NCC.

Earlier, Ducky Bhai has been in the custody of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) since August 20, while Aroob Jatoi is currently out on pre-arrest bail. The court has directed her to appear in early November to proceed with case.

the judicial magistrate issued the summons during a hearing of the case, which has been adjourned until November 3, 2025. The NCCIA has also sent notices to other individuals allegedly involved in the case.

Just last week, NCCIA submitted a formal charge sheet (challan) to the district court, naming Ducky Bhai, Aroob Jatoi, and their manager Subhan as the prime suspects. The husband of another YouTube star, Iqra Kanwal, has also been declared an absconder in the same case.

The challan reveals that Ducky Bhai confessed during his physical remand to promoting online gambling platforms. Investigators claim the couple earned crores of rupees through these activities, with two of their bank accounts reportedly containing over PKR 210 million.
