Lucknow. A major decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath in the interest of teachers of government schools in UP. CM Yogi’s cabinet has decided to provide cashless treatment facility to teachers and other staff of government schools of UP like state employees. About 12 lakh teachers teaching in government schools of UP will benefit from this decision. Under Ayushman Bharat, teachers will be provided cashless treatment facility. Now Shikshamitras, teachers, instructors and cooks of government schools will get the benefit of cashless treatment.
Yogi government will spend Rs 358.61 crore on cashless treatment. In the meeting of Yogi Adityanath cabinet, the facility of cashless treatment was also approved for the employees of Secondary Education Department. About 3 lakh employees will benefit from this. Yogi government of UP will spend Rs 89.25 crore to provide cashless treatment facility to the employees of Secondary Education Department. The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those employees of the Secondary Education Department who are not getting the benefit of any other scheme like Ayushman. Yogi government has also approved the Urban Redevelopment Policy 2026. Apart from this, it was also decided to implement revised development fee, simplify the process of getting the map passed, and establish science park and planetarium in Bareilly and Moradabad.
Yogi cabinet has also given green signal to give government housing and land lease for the rehabilitation of disaster affected families of UP. These disaster affected families are from Partapur and other villages of Bahraich district. It has been decided to provide land and houses under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme to 136 families of all these villages. Apart from this, Yogi government will also give lease of land required for farming to the disaster affected families. 32 proposals came in Yogi cabinet. Out of which no decision was taken on the 14th and 17th proposals.
