The company has confirmed that both Lim and his alleged affair partner, who was the firm’s vice president of strategy, have resigned from their roles.
However, it refused to comment on speculation about their relationship, which has been the talk of the internet this week and even made local news headlines.
Here’s what to know about 45-year-old Lim, his firm and the allegations.
From prison officer to real estate agent
Lim co-founded PropertyLimBrothers (PLB) in 2017 with Adrian Lim, whom he met years earlier when they were both working as prison officers under the city-state’s Ministry of Home Affairs.
The duo later left to venture into real estate, first running a small firm for two years before joining PropNex, Singapore’s largest property agency.
They were named PropNex millionaire realtors after each surpassing S$1 million (US$791,430) in sales commissions in 2019 and 2020, AsiaOne reported.
They then left the agency to strike out on their own with PLB, which has since become known for its slick home tour videos and expanded from a two-man outfit into a 159-strong operation, comprising 90 staff in its creative arm and 69 realtors, according to its website.

The agency ranked seventh on The Straits Times and Statista’s 2025 list of Singapore’s fastest-growing companies, with revenue of nearly $6.5 million in 2023 and an absolute growth rate of 1,569.73%.
PLB said it has handled more than 1,200 property transactions over the past two years. Its YouTube channel has over 79,000 subscribers and more than 4,800 videos. Its Instagram account has at least 38,700 followers, as against PropNex’s 14,400.
Self-proclaimed family man
Lim married his wife when he was 24, and they have four children aged between seven and 20.
In a 2021 interview with DollarsAndSensehe described himself as a “family man” who tried to balance work with family time.
“I am a family man. Apart from work, I spend most of my time at home with the kids, reading books and bringing them out,” he told the personal finance website.
He also said marrying young helped shape his outlook and made him “more motivated to adopt a more mature mindset.”
“Thankfully, I found the love of my life early, and we decided to settle down early, get our first property and set up our family,” he shared.
Lim said in a YouTube video cited by Stomp that he has several properties and four cars for himself, his wife, his mother and his father-in-law.
Affair allegations
Speculation began circulating a few days ago after a Reddit post in the r/SingaporeInfluencers forum on Sunday raised questions about Lim’s relationship with Grayce Tan, the firm’s 29-year-old vice president of strategy who is also an influencer.
Online users soon went through the pair’s digital footprint, sharing holiday photos that appeared to show them together.
A video purportedly recorded from an office opposite Lim’s later surfaced. It allegedly captured moaning sounds and showed the duo leaving together afterward.
On Monday, another user posted a screenshot of what they claimed to be a private WhatsApp message from Lim to PLB staff, in which he apologized for his “personal mistake” and said both he and Tan had stepped down. By Tuesday, their names had been removed from the company’s leadership page.
Company culture
The cheating speculation also led social media users to earlier discussions about PLB’s workplace culture on Glassdoor, a recruitment site that allows current and former employees to leave reviews about their employer.
In an anonymous review dated last October, one user accused the firm of unfair promotion practices, claiming advancement might have depended on “personal proximity to management rather than documented performance,” MustShareNews reported.
Another review posted a few months before that similarly raised concerns about favoritism and also pointed out complaints about a senior being “overly touchy with female colleagues.”
