CUET-UG 2026: The last date to register for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG-2026) is fast approaching. Students who wish to take admission in undergraduate courses at Central and other participating universities must complete their online registration by 11:50 PM on January 30, 2026. The deadline for submitting the application fee is January 31, 2026.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also clarified that a correction window will be opened from February 2 to February 4, 2026, for students who make minor errors while filling out the form. Limited information can be corrected during this period. The NTA advises students not to wait until the last day to avoid technical difficulties and to submit their forms well in advance.
The CUET UG 2026 examination will be conducted between May 11 and May 31, 2026, at various examination centers across the country. This exam is mandatory for admission to undergraduate courses in Central Universities and several other universities in India.
How to Apply?
The online application process for CUET UG 2026 is entirely digital. First, students need to visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. They will need to register by providing their name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. After registration, sign in to the portal using the login details received and carefully fill in your personal, educational, category, and contact details. Then, select your chosen subjects. Upload the necessary documents and make the online payment. After submitting the form, download and save the confirmation page.
Documents Required
Before filling out the online form, keep some essential documents scanned and ready. These include an active mobile number and email ID, a passport-size photograph and signature, and a photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, passport, PAN card, or voter ID. In addition, a 10th class mark sheet, 12th class mark sheet, or roll number (if the result has not been declared), category certificate (if applicable), and PwBD certificate (if applicable) will also be required for verification of the date of birth.
