Rule Change 1st February 2026: Many new rules are going to be implemented in the country from 1 February 2026. These rules will have a direct impact on the lives and expenses of common people. The government has decided to implement these changes with the budget announcement. These include rules to gas, tax, FASTag and banking. Let us understand these changes in simple language.

first change
This change is to the prices of LPG cylinders. Like every month, new prices of gas cylinders will be released on 1st February. There may be a change in the prices of 14 kg domestic gas cylinder. This will have a direct impact on the kitchen expenses.

second big change
This change is to the prices of CNG, PNG and ATF i.e. aviation fuel. Oil companies will release new rates of these fuels on February 1. This may cause changes in the cost of vehicles and air travel.
third change
This change is to increase in tax on pan masala, cigarettes and tobacco products. The government has decided to impose new excise duty and cess on these products. Due to this there is a possibility of increase in their prices.

fourth change
This is a news of relief for FASTag users. On taking a new FASTag from February 1, it will not be necessary to complete the KYC i.e. Know Your Customer process of the vehicle. This will save people’s time and make the process easier.
fifth change
This change is to bank holidays. According to the list of Reserve Bank of India, there will be many bank holidays in the month of February. These include weekly and national holidays. In such a situation, there will be a need to settle important bank work in advance.
