After the new batch of documents to Jeffrey Epstein came to light in America, there has once again been a stir at the global level. These files include some serious and sensational claims made about Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, on which heated debate has now started in political and business circles. However, these allegations have not been officially confirmed yet.
The millions of pages of documents released by the US Department of Justice include some emails sent by Jeffrey Epstein to himself, in which alleged personal matters to Bill Gates have been written. As soon as these claims surfaced, Bill Gates has issued a strong and clear denial.
What was claimed in the Epstein files?
According to the latest documents, in some email drafts written in 2013, Jeffrey Epstein claimed that Bill Gates allegedly had relations with “Russian women” and subsequently contracted a sexually transmitted disease (STD). Epstein also wrote that Gates had tried to obtain antibiotics to keep the affair secret, so that they could be quietly given to his then-wife Melinda Gates. It has also been alleged in these emails that Gates had requested Epstein to delete emails to this alleged incident. However, all these claims have not been confirmed by any independent agency.
Bill Gates’s sharp reply
After the document became public, a rare and strong statement came out from Bill Gates. A Gates spokesperson told the Daily Mail that ‘these claims are completely absurd and completely false.’ He further said that these documents only prove that Epstein was frustrated by the fact that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Bill Gates, and the lengths he would go to to entrap and discredit him. Sources close to Gates say that these emails reflect Epstein’s anger and a desire for revenge, and not any actual incident.
2013 emails and Epstein’s outrage
The emails at the center of the controversy are said to be dated July 18, 2013. These are allegedly draft messages that Epstein wrote for himself. In some of these messages, things are written in the voice of Boris Nikolic, then advisor to Bill Gates. In the same drafts, Epstein also wrote that he was “extremely disappointed” by Gates ending their six-year relationship. He also alleged that he was asked to engage in activities that were morally and ethically wrong. These allegations have also not been proved in any way.
Photos and Justice Department Cleanup
Along with these documents, some photographs have also surfaced which were not made public earlier. In these pictures, Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Gates can be seen together at different places. However, the US Justice Department has already clarified that the appearance of a person’s name or photographs in these files is not in itself evidence of any crime or misinformation. According to the Justice Department, so far more than 3 million pages, more than 2,000 videos and about 1.8 lakh photographs to the Epstein case have been released.
Gates has already expressed regret over his relationship with Epstein.
Bill Gates has previously said publicly that he regrets any relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 in a New York prison, where he was facing federal sex trafficking charges. The marriage of Bill and Melinda Gates lasted from 1994 to 2021. Melinda Gates had previously indicated that Gates’ alleged affair and her relationship with Epstein were factors in the divorce, although she never elaborated on this.
