Company Airbus gets order for India’s first H175 helicopter

New Delhi/Hyderabad. French company Airbus Corporate Helicopters has received an order for three helicopters from a private Indian customer. This includes one H175 helicopter and two ACH160 helicopters. However, the company has not shared its price information.

Airbus Corporate Helicopters said in a statement on Saturday that it has signed an order for two ACH 160 helicopters and one H175 helicopter with a private Indian customer. The operator is already an ACH 160 customer, which will become India’s first H175 helicopter customer.

The company said that with the entry of super-medium twin-engine helicopter in the Indian civil market, the H175 helicopter will come in 16-seat configuration. Its delivery is scheduled to take place in 2026. At the same time, two ACH160 helicopters will be specially configured according to the customer’s requirements, which will be delivered in 2027.

Sunny Guglani, head of Airbus Helicopters India and South Asia, said, “This repeat order for two ACH160s and the first H175 order by an Indian customer reflects the growing maturity of the civil helicopter market in the country.
