Lewisham Fire: 60 firefighters tackle blaze as 8 fire engines race to scene

Eight fire engines and roughly 60 firefighters have been dispatched to a blaze on Rushey Green in Lewisham.
Crews are working to extinguish a fire at a threestorey nursery, where part of the roof is burning.
The Brigade's Control Office received the first of 17 emergency calls at 6:37pm and sent teams from Bromley, East Greenwich, Peckham and several nearby stations to the scene.
