Washington: The US has sent its largest fleet to Iran, raising tensions in West Asia to a fever pitch. Iran has also taken a stand, announcing a two-day naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz. In response, the US Central Command has issued a warning to the Iranian military, stating that it will not tolerate unsafe maneuvers such as flying over US warships, including Iranian speedboats attempting to collide with American ships.

Iran has also claimed that the recent 12-day war has strengthened its military capabilities. According to Iran’s state news agency, Army Chief Amir Hatami said at a military ceremony that the conflict gave the Iranian military an opportunity to understand its strengths and weaknesses, as well as to better assess the enemy’s strategy. According to Hatami, Iran’s missile system, air defense, and overall military capabilities are better and stronger after this war. He described it as a unique experience for Iran, which has strengthened its preparations to deal with any future attack.
