  • Boiled potatoes – medium size
  • wheat flour
  • Green chillies – finely chopped
  • Ginger – grated

  • Turmeric
  • Red chillies
  • Coriander-cumin powder
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Coriander – finely chopped
  • Oil – for frying

  • For this, first peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well. Make sure there are no lumps.
  • Add green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, turmeric, red chillies, coriander-cumin powder and salt to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • Now add wheat flour little by little to this mixture and knead it into a thick dough. There is usually no need to add water.
  • Covering the kneaded dough and keeping it for a few minutes makes the puris softer and puffier.
  • Make small balls of the dough and roll it all over.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry on medium heat until golden.
  • Drain on paper and allow excess oil to drain.
