Rakesh Sharan Mishra, Provincial President of Joint Advocates Federation of Uttar Pradesh, has written a letter to the Chief Minister along with District Officer Sonbhadra and Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra for strict punitive action against the toll workers found guilty of assault on a woman advocate by toll workers at Lodhi Toll Plaza.
State President of Joint Advocates Federation Uttar Pradesh, Provincial General Secretary of Upkas and candidate Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh Rakesh Sharan Mishra expressed deep anger over this incident and termed it as hooliganism of the toll plaza personnel. Expressing grief and anger over this incident, the state president of the federation, Rakesh Sharan Mishra, has said that not only in Sonbhadra district but at most of the toll plazas in the state, incidents of assault on advocates are being carried out by the toll personnel every day and the police system of the state is not able to curb this incident. This act done by the toll personnel every day is highly condemnable.
Taking cognizance of this incident, Shri Mishra has written a letter to the Chief Minister and higher officials of the state and appealed to take strict action against the guilty toll workers as soon as possible, otherwise the advocates of the state including Sonbhadra will be forced to organize a state-wide agitation, the entire responsibility of which will be on the state government.
