During her first budget in 2019, Nirmala Sitharaman had ended the tradition of books and accounts wrapped in red cloth. Instead, he presented the budget with a digital tablet and slim folder. Since then the budget continuously became paperless. Budget 2026 will also be the fifth consecutive paperless budget, which further strengthens the vision of Digital India.
