Rylan Clark and his BBC co-star have aimed a cryptic dig at his exes as they enjoyed a lively chat about a romantic getaway that Rylan recently shared with his new partner. Rylan'scomments emerged during a reunion with his BBC Radio 2 co-star, Sally Boazman—also known as "Sally Traffic"—who called him a "sight for sore eyes" in a playful on-air exchange.

In his weekend broadcast of Rylan On Saturday (January 31), the Dating Naked UK star shed light on a romantic holiday that he shared with his new boyfriend, Kennedy Bates, in the idyllic Maldives.

It marks the second trip the happy pair have enjoyed in recent times, having jetted off toFlorence, Italy, last year. And, judging by his remarks, it seems things are going well for the loved-up couple.

As they got reacquainted on air, Sally said: "But I'm so glad you've had a holiday because you have never had a holiday in all the time I've known...and this time you've had two."

Rylanreplied: "I'm always away, like Judith Chalmers (who presented ITV travel series Wish You Were Here...?), but I'm working; that's the thing. So, to have an actual holiday, Sal, I'm not gonna lie to you, I feel like I actually switched off for the first time in a long time."

The topic soon turned to Kennedy, with Sally saying: "In a very long time, and who have you got to thank for that?" Touchingly, Rylan responded: "Oh, you know, the boy."

In further comments about the new relationship, Sally hinted that she approves of Rylan's new beau before sharing a thinly veiled dig about his ex-partners. She said: "The boy, the lovely boy. At last, you've found someone who's looking after you."

Rylan added: "I know! Innit nice? Innit nice? Makes a change!", as they both admitted that this was "so rare".

He announced his relationship with 48-year-old Kennedy, boss of Billy Bates and Sons funfair in Leicestershire, last August during an appearance on Louis Theroux's podcast, How To Be In Love.

Rylan shared a series of photos from the enviable triplast month, including one that showed a hotel room bed strewn with rose petals and the words: "Welcome home Rylan & Bates."

Some of the others included Kennedy relaxing on the beach, the couple making a toast by the ocean, and a shot of a shirtless Rylan from behind with a suncream heart on his back.

In his caption, Rylan, who stayed at the Adaaran Select Meedhupparu hotel, wrote: "You were perfect. New year, new friends, new beginnings."

It prompted people to take to the comment section to share their well-wishes, including various famous names, such as Zoe Ball, who wrote: "Love this love for you Baby."

Meanwhile, Rob Rinder said: "This is the standard I had in mind for you." Angellica Bell wrote: "Babezzzz, why you making me feel all gooey, you big softie!"
