Soon after Arijit Singh revealed his decision to retire from playback singing, filmmaker-composer Vishal Bhardwaj took to social media to share an emotional throwback from the making of ‘Ishq Ka Fever’. The video featured Bhardwaj singing the track in the studio as Arijit recorded it, capturing a heartfelt glimpse of their collaboration. Accompanying the clip, Vishal wrote a moving note filled with disbelief and affection for the singer: “Hey Arijit.. Till a few days back, while we were jamming on this song (you were shooting the video) I didn’t know that this will be my one of the last film song with you. This is unfair.. #TakeBackYourSanyaas. It’s unacceptable."

Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘O’Romeo’ is a Vishal Bhardwaj directorial produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is set to hit theatres on February 13, 2026.
