Industry season four, episode four arrived on screens this week and delivered another gripping instalment that kept viewers glued to their seats after episode three was a lighter affair.
In typical Industry fashion, audiences witnessed some difficult-to-watch sequences as the episode entitled 1,000 Yoots, 1 Marilyn built to an unsettling crescendo, reports the Mirror.
An episode synopsis from the BBC revealed: "After landing their banking licence, Tender partners with the wealth management arm of a global financial institution to launch their new 360-degree banking app at WebHorizon.
"An article exposing Tender's business practices doesn't make the impression Harper had hoped for, and the lack of wider industry acknowledgement leaves Harper's short in the lurch."
Here's a look at season four, episode four and the fate of Rishi's wife from the previous series.
*WARNING: This article contains major spoilers from all seasons of Industry*
Henry Muck (played by Kit Harington) appeared to find his footing this week following a rousing address at Tender's app launch, aided considerably by Whitney Halberstram's (Max Minghella) encouraging words moments earlier.
Briefly, it seemed Henry would lose his nerve when he clashed with his spouse Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Marisa Abela) and she began questioning whether he'd suffered a relapse.
Consequently, this appears to mark an audacious fresh start for Henry... until everything collapses when Tender's corrupt activities are ultimately revealed.
On that note, FinDigest journalist Jim Dycker (Charlie Heaton) found himself facing disciplinary proceedings at work after Hayley Clay (Kiernan Shipka) opted to file assault charges against him.
Dycker appeared to be making genuine progress with his exposé on Tender's true character when his significant ethical misjudgement involving Hayley cost him everything.
Furthermore, Harper Stern (Myha'la) and Eric Tao (Ken Leung) were left exasperated when Dycker's article failed to deliver the momentum they required for their short-only hedge fund.
Harper contemplated potentially passing the intelligence she and Sweetpea Golightly (Miriam Petche) had obtained during their Sunderland visit to another journalist in the hope of advancing their fund. Here's hoping Tender ultimately faces its downfall.
Following last week's uncomfortable situation surrounding Yasmin's involvement at Tender, she was eventually appointed as the firm's communications manager to help champion the company's reputation.
She subsequently promoted Hayley following their ménage à trois last week with Henry during their Vienna excursion.
Yasmin appeared to believe she now had Hayley under her control after thinking she'd manoeuvred her into doing her bidding, including shutting down Dycker's story by contacting the police.
Nevertheless, it's evident Hayley understood precisely what was unfolding and there was a suggestion that she possessed the capability to bring down Tender and the Mucks should she choose to. Hayley clearly holds the upper hand now, regardless of what Yasmin believed, and it appears the Mucks could face serious difficulties if they're not cautious.
The episode concluded with arguably one of the most harrowing and bleak sequences yet, if that's even conceivable.
Dycker and Rishi Ramdani (Sagar Radia) were getting high together in his apartment with music thundering out.
Dycker was rambling about Rishi's late wife Diana Ramdani (Emily Barber), and asked what witnessing her death was like as they both appeared to spiral.
Whilst Rishi popped to the bathroom to fetch some cocaine after his supply ran dry, it appeared that Dycker had suffered an overdose on his settee.
Simultaneously, officers arrived following noise complaints, which prompted Rishi to leap from his balcony.
Rishi survived the fall, albeit with substantial injuries, as he was handcuffed by officers and carted off. Will Rishi recover? Has Dycker died? Has Tender now escaped accountability for whatever dubious activities it's conducting in Africa? Tune in next time.
Numerous fans have also been questioning what became of Rishi's wife - here's a brief reminder.
During the third season, Diana suffered a horrific fate after being shot dead by loan shark Vinay Sarkar (Asim Chaudhry) following Rishi's gambling debts spinning out of control.
Diana had previously rescued him by liquidating their assets and property, but Rishi's compulsion proved overwhelming and she ultimately paid the ultimate price. Rishi remained profoundly troubled by Diana's death, which stemmed directly from his decisions, and the most recent episode appeared to portray this with considerable impact.
Viewers were also left questioning the situation regarding Rishi's child, with episode four depicting him in a meeting with his son and a social worker.
Industry airs on HBO and HBO Max on Sundays and on BBC iPlayer on Mondays at 6am and BBC One at 10.40pm
