Settlement. Information about a sensational murder in a village under the Kalwari police station area of Basti district has come to light. By calling dial 112, the mother of the innocent girl appealed to the local police that by taking her daughter to his house on the pretext of giving her chocolate, the accused tried to rape the girl. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the area officer, Kalwari police station, reached Kalwari. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, he took a complaint from the family members against the accused. A case has been registered under serious sections like POCSO Act and SC/ST attempt to rape and further proceedings have been started. Area Officer Kalwari Sanjay Singh said that the age of the Dalit girl is only 5 years. The accused lured her to his house on the pretext of giving her chocolate and tried to rape her. The local police is showing promptness and registering a case against the accused under serious sections and is taking further action. Peace and order is maintained.
