New Delhi: Mumbai will host its annual flower festival this February as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation prepares to welcome citizens to Byculla zoo for a three-day floral celebration. Organised in collaboration with the Tree Authority, the event will be held at Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Garden and Zoo. With free entry, extended visiting hours, and large-scale plant displays, the festival is expected to attract families, gardening enthusiasts, and nature lovers from across the city.
The festival will open to the public after its inauguration on February 6 and remain open till 8 pm on all three days. Now in its 29th edition, the Mumbai Flower Festival has become a winter tradition, offering residents a chance to engage with flowers, plants, and horticulture in an urban setting. Festival schedule and entry details

Dates and timings
The Mumbai Flower Festival will be held from February 6 to 8, 2026. On the opening day, the exhibition will remain open till 8 pm after the morning inauguration. On February 7 and 8, visitors can access the venue from 8 am to 8 pm.
Free entry
Entry to the festival will be free for visitors on all three days, allowing citizens to explore the exhibition without any ticket charges.
Festival organised under civic supervision

Civic guidance
The event is being organised under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani and Additional Municipal Commissioner (Eastern Suburbs) Dr Avinash Dhakane.
On-ground arrangements
Festival arrangements are being supervised by Deputy Commissioner (Gardens) Ajitkumar Ambi and Garden Superintendent Jitendra Pardeshi, civic officials said.
Plant displays
Around 5,000 plants will be showcased at the exhibition, including flowering plants, seasonal blooms, fruit saplings, medicinal plants, and ornamental varieties.
Gardening stalls
Several stalls selling gardening tools, pots, soil mixtures, fertilisers, and other horticulture- materials will be set up to encourage home gardening.
Gardening workshops
Garden- workshops will be conducted during the festival, offering guidance on plant care, maintenance, and appropriate use of fertilisers.
Theme-based displays
Theme-based floral installations will be introduced this year as well, continuing the festival’s tradition of visually engaging arrangements designed to attract visitors of all age groups.
With free entry, extended hours, and diverse floral attractions, the Mumbai Flower Festival is expected to offer a refreshing break from the city’s fast-paced routine while promoting greenery and gardening awareness.
