BPSCC Vacancy 2026: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSCC) has announced recruitment for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Operation). A total of 462 vacancies are available in this recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply online from February 4, 2026, to March 4, 2026. Interested candidates should apply only through the official BPSCC website.

Who can apply?
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks by August 1, 2025.
However, the minimum marks are set at 45% for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.

Age Limit Conditions
The age of the candidates will be calculated as of August 1, 2025.  Candidates must be within the prescribed minimum and maximum age limits on this date.

For the unreserved (General) category male candidates, the minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age is 37 years, while for female candidates, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years. For Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) male and female candidates, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years.

Selection Process
The selection process will be completed in three stages. The first stage will consist of a written examination, which will include preliminary and main examinations, both of which will be objective type. The second stage will be the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which includes running, high jump, long jump, and shot put. The final stage will involve document verification and a medical examination, through which the eligibility and physical fitness of the candidates will be finally verified.

Select advertisement number 04/2026 for the ASI (Operation) post. Complete the registration using your mobile number and email ID.
Log in, carefully fill out the application form, and upload your photo and signature.

After verifying all the details, submit the form and keep a printout for your records.
