A mum expressed her shock and disappointment after discovering a derogatory remark about her child on a receipt from a local café.
Kimberly Sze, a regular at Coffee Supreme in Christchurch, New Zealand, branded the café "disrespectful" following an unpleasant comment added to her bill during a breakfast visit with her then-two year old daughter in 2019.
Kimberly was left fuming when she noticed that a staff member had referred to her child as "terrifying".

The offending note, which read: "Fam w the terrifying kid", was printed at the top of the bill.
Taking to Facebook to share a snapshot of the receipt, Kimberly defended her daughter, stating: "My daughter is nothing but polite and friendly and we've never left a mess.
"She's never been a terror, never had a meltdown, never caused any problems and the same people working today always comment on how cute and sweet she is, so what the actual f? [sic]".
Her post sparked outrage among other parents, with one saying: "Not only is that rude but totally inappropriate way of identifying customers [sic]."
Following her dissatisfaction with the response from the café's front-of-house team, Kimberly said the management at Supreme Coffee had "apologised profusely" after she reached out to them.
"Supreme has been really great in their response and swift in action to address the issue," the mum told Daily Mail Australia at the time.
The franchise also posted on Facebook saying: "We made a mistake over the weekend and offended a customer - a young family out trying to enjoy a moment of normality," they wrote.
"We are incredibly sorry and wish to apologise publicly. If you're the parent of young children, we know how it is and would like to shout you and your wee one a coffee and fluffy at Customs or Coffee Supreme Welles Street - they're on us from tomorrow through to the end of Sunday. We love fluffies too."
This follows another controversy where a father demanded his son's teacher be dismissed after discovering a "rude" message she'd scrawled on his homework.
Chris Piland, a dad from Pennsylvania in the United States, was gobsmacked when he saw the feedback the teacher had left on maths work set for seven and eight year olds, which tasked pupils with completing as many subtraction sums as possible from a list of 60 within three minutes.
However, upon marking his son's attempt, the furious father discovered she had scribbled: "Absolutely pathetic he answered 13 in 3 min! Sad", complete with a sad face drawing.
The image of the marked work, which went viral after originally appearing in 2019 and has recently resurfaced online, sparked fierce debate amongst parents regarding how the pupil was treated, with some branding it "sickening" whilst others stood by the teacher's approach.
Chris had posted the image alongside the caption: "My son's teacher has been so rude to him and myself all year. He comes home with this and I am beyond frustrated that someone would write this on a child's work. Such great motivation."
Following this, a petition was set up demanding the teacher's sacking, which attracted over 15,000 signatures - though it was swiftly countered by another petition contending that the remark shouldn't result in her losing her job.
