In the beginning, just teach children to hold a pencil. Let them draw on the paper without any restrictions.

Step 2

After the child learns to hold a pencil, let them draw any shape on the paper. Now ask the child to make lines in that shape. With this he will learn to control scrabble.

Step 3

Now teach the child to make lines. In this you have to make 3 types of lines from them. Standing line means straight line, sleeping line means half line and slotting line means crooked line. This will help children in forming letters. Command over pencil will increase.

Step 4

When the child becomes perfect in making lines, then teach him to make curves. That is, teach him to write English letters like C and U.

Step 5

The fifth step in teaching children to write is to teach them to make line patterns. It includes the Jic Jack line as well as 3 other types of line patterns.
