Abhirami Suresh faces online abuse after live show; singer says, 'You do not deserve to be bullied'

Prominent singer Abhirami Suresh had to face a tough moment after her recent live performance . Videos of her show were shared online and soon the comment sections were filled with abuse. Many people wrote body-shaming comments and even used sexual harassment words. The situation made her write a long note on Instagram where she expressed her feelings openly and honestly.

Abhirami writes from the heart In her message she said she was writing with a heavy heart. She wrote, "I wrote this with a heavy heart, but I always feel lighter once I let things out. Social media has been a part of my life for so long that sometimes it feels like a diary, and today I am writing in it again. "


Abhirami then said she has been bullied for many years. She wrote, "I have been bullied for as long as I can remember, without ever truly knowing what harm I caused to anyone, to society or to the audience. But I let that be." She shared that her family and friends helped her stay strong during those hard times. She said not everyone has that support, and she knows how painful it can be for people who stand alone.


The singer reminded everyone that nobody deserves bullying. She wrote, "So whoever you are, an artist, a professional, a student, someone still finding your place, a girl, a transgender person, or simply a human being, you do not deserve to be bullied. Ever"




A message of strength for everyone

Abhirami also explained how she learned to stay strong. She wrote, "I have worn strength like armour for years, and it protected me when I needed it. I faked it till I made it, and somewhere along the way, I truly became strong."


But Abhirami explained that being strong does not mean keeping emotions inside, "But strength does not mean silence. Crying, feeling deeply, and letting it out does not make us weak. It makes us human "


The talented artist ended her note by giving comfort to people who may be going through similar pain. She wrote, "To anyone hurting right now, know this: You are not alone. You are seen. You are enough Sending you light, love, and strength. Brighter days do come."
