There's nothing like looking around charity shops, and the experience is always better when you come across something incredible. One person who recently discovered this is Brogan, from Wiltshire, and she was left totally floored when she uncovered a really gorgeous item.
Brogan, known as tripleearthsign_ on TikTok, often documents her shopping finds online, and she admitted she "won the lottery" after recently striking gold. In fact, she was so thrilled with her purchase that she simply had to show it off, as she couldn't believe just how lucky she was to make the unlikely discovery during a recent day out.
It's not the only occasion a bargain lover has made a cracking find lately either. Just days ago, someone else also uncovered a £900 pair of boots and snapped them up at a bargain price.

Alongside the video, Brogan wrote: "POV: you find a Barbour trench in a charity shop for £25 and feel like you’ve won the lottery. This is why I love thrifting.
"One of these trenches has been on my wish list for years! Wash done, currently watching hundreds of DIY waxing videos."
In the clip, she then expanded on how she came across it. She explained: "I found this Barbour trench coat in the charity shop for £25 a couple of months ago.
"From a little bit of research, it looks like it's from the 80s and, considering that, it is in great condition. I'm about to do the thing that everyone tells you not to do, which is I'm going to wash my Barbour.
"So, I can send it to Barbour to wash but I just have that gene of 'I can do it myself'. I've bought a tub of waterproof wax to re-wax it with, but the first step is going to be washing this, because it smells so bad. We've actually been storing this in the shed because of how bad it smells."
Brogan then detailed how she washed the jacket, although this isn't recommended by Barbour. According to official guidance, they cannot be machine washed, dry cleaned or treated with hot water or detergents.
This is because it can lead to permanently ruining the wax coating and can also damage the fabric. Instead, it's best to brush off any dirt, and then sponge down the exterior with cold water only. Further guidance can be found at the website if you feel yours in need of a clean.
However, when it comes to the jacket Brogan found, people were more than impressed that she spotted it. Many agreed it was like hitting the charity shop jackpot.
One person said: "My mum had that coat." Another added: "Oh wow, that's amazing."
A third also replied: "I found a Barbour in a charity shop for a fiver, and it was in pretty bad condition. I washed it and waxed it and now it looks new."
Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "I’ve never been so jealous. What an amazing find." Someone else also chimed in with: "I love that jacket, oh my."
One more also added: "I know you said about doing it yourself, but Barbour do a cleaning service and it’s amazing! Got my one looking brand new."
