Ingredients required to make Pav Bhaji Paratha
- Wheat flour – 3 cups
- Boiled potatoes – 2 cups
- Boiled peas – half cup
- Tomato – 3 (finely chopped)
- Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
- Capsicum – 1 (finely chopped)
- Pav bhaji masala – 2 tsp
- Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
- Turmeric – half teaspoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Coriander – finely chopped
- Oil or butter – for baking
Easy method of making pav bhaji paratha
Prepare the stuffing:
First of all keep all the vegetables ready. Add some butter or oil in a pan and fry the onion on low flame until it turns light golden. Now add tomatoes and cook until soft. After this add boiled potatoes, peas, capsicum, pav bhaji masala, turmeric, red chilli and salt. Mash everything well and finally add green coriander and let the stuffing cool.
Make Paratha:
Mix some salt in wheat flour, knead a soft dough and make small balls. Fill each ball with prepared pav bhaji stuffing and gently roll it into a round paratha.
Bake Paratha:
Heat the pan, add some oil and cook the paratha on low flame till it becomes golden and crisp from both the sides.
How to serve?
Take out the hot pav bhaji paratha in a plate, add some butter on top and serve with green chutney or onion-tomato chutney. Everyone will like this recipe, from children to adults.
