One person has died and three others have seriously injured after a double-decker bus drove down a pedestrianised street and crashed in Dublin city.
Emergency services have rushed to the scene of the incident, which occurred when a Bus Éireann double-decker bus was travelling on Talbot Street at around 12.30pm to take a left onto the one-way system on Marlborough Street. However, pictures suggest the bus careered across the road and onto a pedestrianised area on North Earl Street. A number of people were reportedly hit by the bus, and it is understood that at least one person was also trapped under the bus. Several people, including the driver, have been taken to hospital.
