Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has strongly denied any connection to the Jeffrey Epstein files that have rocked the world. The documents, which detail the crimes of the late sex offender Epstein, mention a “Bollywood guy” and “famous Bollywood director” for a 2017 event in Beijing. Kashyap told HT City exclusively, “I’ve no clue about this. I get invitations as a speaker, about 15 a month. I rarely respond. Also, I have never been to Beijing in my life!”

The Epstein files have named big shots like Bill Gates, who later said he “regrets” all contact with Epstein. Kashyap’s name popped up in unverified emails, fueling wild online speculation. But the director dismissed it as nonsense, adding, “It’s some random email, that’s self-explanatory. The clickbait in my name is more popular than my films.”
