New Delhi Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal not only proved to be the biggest hit of his career but it also sparked tremendous debate among the audience. While Ranbir’s character Ranvijay in the film was praised on one hand, questions were also raised on its violent and aggressive nature. Now Ranbir Kapoor himself has admitted that when he heard the story of this film for the first time, he found his character quite terrifying.

Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga held a press conference ahead of the premiere of Animal on February 13 in Japan. Meanwhile, Ranbir told that during the narration he felt that this character is not normal and there is a dark side in it. But as he understood the character’s emotions and his family story, he started connecting with it.

According to Ranbir, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s vision and confidence forced him to say yes to the film. He felt that the director wanted to bring this character and story on screen with complete honesty. This was the reason that despite looking scary, this role became an exciting challenge for him.

Animal is counted among the most challenging films of Ranbir’s career. When he was asked about the most difficult scene, he said that the climax of the film was the most difficult for him. In that scene, she and Bobby Deol had to shoot shirtless in the extreme cold, which was difficult both physically and mentally.

However, Ranbir also said that he enjoyed the action sequences of the film as they were completely original and proved to be memorable for the audience. Apart from Ranbir, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Trupti Dimri were seen in important roles in Animal. This film was included in the highest grossing films of the year 2023.

Now the audience is eagerly waiting for the second part of Animal, Animal Park. There is news that its shooting may start in the middle of next year and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a double role in it.

Talking about the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan Part 1 which will be released on Diwali this year. Apart from this, he will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love and War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
