Virat Kohli on WPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bangalore won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets in the final match of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026. RCB became champion of both IPL and WPL
This is the first time that the same franchise has won both IPL and WPL titles. RCB men’s team is the current defending champion of IPL, while the women’s team has won the WPL 2026 title. The special thing is that RCB has won three major trophies consecutively in the last three years – WPL in 2024, IPL in 2025 and now the WPL title again in 2026. Virat Kohli has been a part of RCB since the beginning of IPL. He had to wait for a long time of 17 years to win the IPL trophy, which was finally accomplished.
