The hero of the Indian victory was 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who played a brilliant inning of 175 runs in 80 balls, due to which the team scored a huge score of 411 runs for nine wickets.

President Murmu said that the Indian team has brought glory to the country by winning the title while remaining undefeated in the entire tournament. Praising the extraordinary skill of the team, PM Modi said that this victory will inspire the young players.
