'I'm a PR expert and I know how Beatrice and Eugenie should respond to Andrew scandal'

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie should focus on "purpose-led" work to overcome the latest scandal involving their parents, a PR expert has claimed.

The royal siblings have been facing a difficult time after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson's very public downfall. Their parents' humiliation reached new heights last week after the US Department of Justice released a new tranche of documents relating to convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

Many of these documents revealed embarrassing details about Andrew and Fergie's association with the late US financier. One photograph appeared to show Andrew kneeling down on all fours next to an unidentified woman on the floor.

Meanwhile, a series of emails, which appeared to be sent by Fergie, praised the late convicted US financier, calling him a legend and describing him as the "brother I have always wished for".

Beatrice and Eugenie are also mentioned in the emails, with one email from Ms Ferguson stating that she is waiting for her youngest daughter to return from a "sha****g weekend".

Following their latest embarrassment, a PR expert expressed confidence that the two princesses will come out stronger after the scandal; however, this will only happen if they keep their focus on meaningful projects that are in no way linked to their parents.

Renae Smith, founder of PR and branding agency The Atticism, told the Express: "The smartest strategy for Beatrice and Eugenie is to continue building independent identities that are not reactionary to the scandal. Calm, consistent, values-driven work over time will protect their reputations far more effectively than any active PR manoeuvre."

She added: "Purpose-led work, particularly around children, education, or mental health, would most likely be appropriate in a longer-term projection."

She stressed that the two siblings should not make any statements about their parents, as this will damage their image in the long term.

Ms Smith said: "The [late] Queen's position here is actually right - be silent. No emotion. Leave it alone."

Beatrice and Eugenie has so far not made any comments regarding the Epstein scandal and neither have their parents.

Being mentioned in the Epstein files does not suggest and wrongdoing and Andrew has previously strenuously denied any wrongdoing.
