- Dry bread – 10 slices
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Milk – half cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Cream – 4 spoons
- Ghee – half cup
- Dry fruits – half cup (chopped)
- Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
- Silver work – for decoration
Easy method of making dried bread pudding
step 1
First of all, prepare all the ingredients at one place. Break the dry bread into small pieces and soak them in water, so that they become soft.
Step 2
Now place a pan on gas and add ghee in it. When the ghee is hot, add cardamom and fry until a light aroma appears.
Step 3
After this, add sugar and cream in the pan and cook on low flame for about 10 minutes, until the mixture becomes slightly thick.
Step 4
Now mash the soaked bread well and put it in the pan and cook while stirring continuously, so that the halwa does not get fried.
Step 5
Add milk to it, then add dry fruits and cardamom powder. Let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
Step 6
When the halwa is cooked well and starts releasing ghee, turn off the gas. Take it out in a bowl and serve it hot with a silver plate on top.
