Google Account Unknown Devices Guide: In today's digital age, online fraud and data theft are increasing rapidly. Our Google account is linked to email, banking, social media, photos, documents, and many important apps. Therefore, if your Google account remains logged in on an unknown device, it can pose a major threat to your privacy. Many times, after logging into email at a cyber cafe, on a friend's phone, or on an office computer, we forget to log out. This small mistake can lead to big problems later on.
How to find out which number is linked to your Aadhaar Card? Check it this way.
The good news is that Google provides you with the facility to view all the devices connected to your account and remove them immediately if needed. Let's learn the easy way to do this.
Method 1: Through Google Account Security Settings
First, open your Google Account on your mobile or computer and sign in with your email ID. After logging in, you will see several options on the left side. Click on 'Security' or 'Security and Sign-in' here.
Now, scrolling down, you will see the 'Recent activity' or 'Your devices' section. Here you will find a list of all the devices on which your Google account is logged in. If you see a device that you don't recognize, click on it. Then tap on options like 'No, secure my account' or 'Sign out'. Doing this will immediately log your account out of that device.
Method 2: Directly from the website
You can open myaccount.google.com in Google Chrome or any other browser. This will take you directly to your Google account settings. Here you will find the 'Devices' option below your profile picture and email ID.
Clicking on this will display information about all the devices connected to your account. You may be asked to enter your password to remove or secure any device. After entering the password, you can remove access from that device. By taking these simple precautions, you can keep your Google account secure and protect yourself from digital fraud. If you suspect that your Google account is logged in on another device, use these methods today.
