Under his leadership, JDMEHF achieved net debt-free status by repaying ₹215 crores, while simultaneously expanding institutional capacity. He has also led the raising of ₹300 crores from leading financial institutions including Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, and Tata Capital to fund the DJ Medicity project. He has also overseen the construction and delivery of The Grande, a multi-storey residential development with a built-up area of approximately 1 million square feet.
Within the DJ Group, Rhitik Jassar has played a central role in institutional modernisation, including the state government clearance of the DJ medical college, large-scale redevelopment of existing colleges, and modernisation of hostel infrastructure across a 75-acre campus. These initiatives have expanded residential capacity to over 1,650 students and introduced advanced academic facilities including simulation labs, modern lecture theatres, and specialised clinical spaces.
JDMEHF currently operates five specialised colleges offering programmes in dental sciences, Ayurvedic medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and paramedical sciences. The foundation’s forward roadmap includes the launch of new institutions in medical sciences (MBBS, MD, MS), law (LLB, LLM), and business education (MBA, BBA), positioning the group as a multidisciplinary education hub.
