This incident which came to light from Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh raises serious questions for both society and law and order. Suddenly the atmosphere of happiness turned into chaos when the police arrived at the house where the engagement rituals were going on. As soon as the accused youth saw the police, he left the engagement and ran away. The truth that came out later shocked everyone.
The matter is of Balaini police station area of Baghpat. According to the police, the accused youth, along with one of his associates, has recently been named in the case of kidnapping of two minor cousins. It is alleged that the accused raped one minor, while an attempt was made to rape another.
