Now Primary School Dautra has become the winner at the state level in the Clean and Green School Rating (HHVR) 2025-26. In the past this school has secured first position at the district level. Now, Dautara Primary School, which has set a new record by becoming the winner at the state level, has become eligible for the national level competition with this achievement.
The Clean and Green School Rating (HHVR) evaluation competition promotes cleanliness, green environment, behavior change and sustainable maintenance in schools in line with the spirit of the National Education Policy 2020. Its evaluation is done through a phased process at three levels – district, state and union territory and national. This success of primary school Dautara is a source of inspiration for the entire district Rae Bareli. The school family is moving ahead with full enthusiasm for better performance at the national level also.
Principal in-charge of the school, Ashish Pratap Singh, said that in the standards of Clean and Green School Rating (HHVR), safe drinking water and water conservation, cleanliness, availability and regular maintenance of toilets, washing hands with soap i.e. creating the habit of regular handwashing among children, operation and maintenance of the school as well as sustainable management of clean premises and resources, cleanliness awareness among children and community, environmental protection and green initiatives under Mission Life activities have been kept prominent.
He said that after selection at the state level, schools will now be evaluated at the national level. After which the top 200 schools that win this competition at the national level will be honored with the ‘National Clean and Green School Rating (HHVR) Award 2025-26’ by the Central Government. Teachers Ashish Pratap Singh, Vishnu Sahu, Sanjeev Kumar Bajpai, Sushma Pandey, Shesh Dutt Gupta have made a special contribution to this achievement of the school, and all these teachers are now actively engaged in the preparation for the national level.
Along with this, village head Sandeep Kumar, School Management Committee Chairman Ajay Kumar Maurya along with all the students, parents and villagers have made a huge contribution. Block Education Officer Ram Milan Yadav, while congratulating the school on this achievement, said that Primary School Dautara has set an exemplary example in the field of cleanliness and green environment. By becoming first in the district and winner in the state, the school has enhanced the prestige of the entire region. We are confident that the school will prove its excellence at the national level also.
