Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a great opportunity for young people. The bank has released the notification for apprentice recruitment for the financial year 2025-26. This recruitment will provide graduate candidates with the opportunity to gain work experience in the banking sector. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from February 8th to February 24th, 2026. The application process will be completed through the BFSI SSC portal. During this apprenticeship, candidates will also receive a monthly stipend, providing them with financial assistance.

To apply for this PNB apprentice recruitment, candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. The results must have been declared by December 31, 2025.  Additionally, for candidates registered with NATS, the date of obtaining the degree should not be more than four years before January 1, 2026.

Age Limit and Relaxation Information
The candidate's age should be at least 20 years and a maximum of 28 years as of January 1, 2026. This means the candidate should not have been born before January 2, 1998, and after January 1, 2006.  Age relaxation will be provided to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, and Persons with Disabilities candidates as per government rules. For candidates applying under NAPS, the maximum age limit is 34 years.

Stipend and Training
Candidates selected for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will receive a stipend every month during their training. Trainees working in rural, semi-urban, and urban branches will receive ₹12,300 per month, while those in metro branches will receive ₹15,000 per month. No additional allowances will be provided during this period. The total duration of the apprenticeship will be one year, including two weeks of basic training followed by 50 weeks of on-the-job training.

Application Process
First, the candidate must submit the application and examination fee online. After that, it is mandatory to register on the NAPS and NATS portals using the same email ID and mobile number. Finally, the NAPS Apprentice Code and NATS enrollment number must be updated on the BFSI SSC portal. After applying, a printout of the application should be saved for future reference.
