To avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana, you must be a farmer and own agricultural land in your name. If you own agricultural land, you can apply for this scheme. After your application is correct and verified, you will start receiving the installments.

How to register for PM Kisan Yojana?
Eligible farmers can apply for the PM-KISAN scheme by submitting all the necessary documents with the help of revenue officials, village patwaris, or other designated agencies. They can also self-register on the PM-KISAN portal or visit their nearest Common Service Center (CSC) for registration.

Documents showing land ownership
To register yourself, follow the steps given below:
Go to the PM-KISAN portal.
Under 'Farmer Corner', select the 'New Farmer Registration' option.
The 'New Farmer Registration Form' page will open. This will verify whether the farmer is already registered on the portal.
For verification, select the 'Rural Farmer Registration' or 'Urban Farmer Registration' option, enter your Aadhaar number, select your state, and enter the captcha. Now press the 'Search' button.
If the farmer's details are not found in the database, the page will display a confirmation message and ask, "Do you want to register yourself?" Select the 'Yes' button.
The registration form will open. Enter your personal and banking details and click 'Save'.
Follow the instructions displayed on the page to complete the registration process.
