After the picture came out, discussions have intensified in politics, tech industry and business world. However, the documents make it clear that there is no indication of Elon Musk being involved in any wrongdoing or criminal activity and the presence of the name in the files does not in itself confirm any crime.

Why is the picture being discussed?

The documents made public by the US Justice Department with the aim of increasing transparency include millions of pages, photographs and videos. In a picture present in these files, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are seen sitting at the same dinner table, which has quickly made headlines on social media.

What did Epstein write in the note?

It has also been revealed from the emails included in the files that on August 2, 2015, Jeffrey Epstein had written a note to himself. In this note, he had talked about having dinner with ‘Musk Thiel Zuckerberg’ in Los Angeles. It is believed that he was referring to Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg and investor Peter Thiel. The next day, Epstein emailed himself a photo taken at the same dinner event, which has now come to light with the investigation files.

Jeffrey Epstein has long had relations with many influential figures in politics, business and education. In 2008, he was convicted of inciting a minor to have sexual relations in Florida. Epstein died in jail in 2019. Which remains a mystery till today.

Did Musk go to Epstein’s island?

Some of the messages in the Epstein files mention discussions with Elon Musk about possible travel arrangements. These also include questions asked regarding Epstein’s visit to the island in 2012. Elon Musk has clearly said that he never visited that island and no charges have been filed against him.
