A woman has shared her cheap secret to staying vape free for over six months, and it costs less than £1.
Many people have chosen to stop smoking and take up vaping instead, due to cancer-causing tobacco not being used in the devices. According to the NHS, nicotine vaping is less harmful than smoking, but it's not completely harmless.
The NHS has confirmed they do not yet know the long-term effects of e-cigarettes and vaping. However, they are one of the most effective tools for quitting smoking.

As the vaping action is similar to smoking, it can make it much easier for people to quit.
The NHS has said almost two-thirds of people who use a vape along with behavioural support from their local stop smoking service, successfully quit smoking.
But the aim for many people is to get to a point where they can also stop using a vape, such as Alice Fay who has 17.8k followers on TikTok.
Alice shared a post at the start of February to explain how she has been vape-free for over six months by using an easy and cheap hack.
She said: "I've been vape free for six months now, and that is because I switched to flavoured water instead. Especially in one of these Stanley bottles with a straw.
"The best hack is to get the same flavour as your vapes, because you're not really missing anything."
After posting the video, dozens of people commented to thank Alice for the advice and called her "smart" for thinking of the hack.
One person said: "Hang on a minnuuttteeeeee!!!!!! Lemon and lime water here I come."
A second added: "wait this is so smart omg."
Other people shared their own experiences of quitting vaping, including one person who substituted her vape with sweets.
She said: "I’ve been using cherry drop sweets Because I loved me a cherry vape. 4 and a half months vape free."
Another person commented: "Ok trying this asap! I could not stop eating sweets this last time I quit."
