New Delhi: Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the central BJP government, saying that if everything related to agriculture were imported from abroad, the country’s farmers would be utterly ruined. He questioned what farmers would grow, what they would sell, and how they would support their families with their hard-earned money.
Earlier also on Tuesday in a post on his social media he said that if farmers don’t receive a fair price for their crops how will they be able to fulfill social responsibilities like educating their children, treating the elderly, and marrying their daughters? If it’s difficult to feed themselves today, hoping to save for tomorrow is futile.
