Post-wise details include 150 Joint Commissioners of Police (JCOs), 16,300 SAP Jawans (Jammu and Kashmiri Regiments), and 550 cooks. All will be recruited on a contract basis. The decision to increase the number of posts in SAP was made because the current workforce is currently undergoing training and is unable to provide services.

According to departmental information, jawans recruited on a contract basis in SAP will receive a salary of ₹30,000 per month. JCOs will receive ₹35,000 per month, and cooks will receive ₹25,000 per month.
